Summer may be a "vacation" for youth, but it is also the time when children are most vulnerable if they are not actively engaged in safe, structured, and positive programs such as the summer day camps offered by through the Greenville County Recreation District Community Centers.

Due to the economy, many parents are unable to send their child to summer camp without financial assistance.
