Q: Why should I donate to support parks and recreation?
A: Your contributions help our public parks and recreation providers keep pace with our community's growing population and needs. 

Q: How will my donation be used?
A: Your donation will be used exactly as you request.  Gonnalovethisplace.com was designed so that you, the donor, can specifically designate which items you would like to provide or programs you would like to support.

Q:  Can I give a gift "in honor" or "in memory" of someone?
A:  Yes.  At check out you can designate your gift to be "in honor" or "in memory" of someone.  Be sure to provide the individual's or their family's contact information so they can be notified, if you choose, of your gift.

Q: Is my gift tax deductible?
A: Yes. All contributions will flow through the Greater Greenville Parks Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) organization set up specifically to mobilize public support and financial resources for public parks, trails, and recreational opportunities.  All donations are tax deductible in full accordance with the law.

Q: Can I make an undesignated gift to the Greater Greenville Parks Foundation through this campaign?
A: Absolutely. Anyone can make an undesignated gift to the campaign. An undesignated gift will go to the current greatest need. If you are interested in making such a gift, you may do so through this website or by contacting Mike Teachey.

Q: Can I visit with you to see areas under development or programs in need?
A: Yes. We highly encourage anyone who would like to visit with us to do so. Please contact us to make arrangements for a visit.

Q: Is the Greater Greenville Parks Foundation a not-for-profit organization?
A: Yes.  The Greater Greenville Parks Foundation is a not for profit organization.  Our 501 (c) (3) status has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service and our  Tax I.D. # is 26-3758030.

Q:  Will part of my donation go towards administrative cost?  If so, how much?
A:  10 percent (%10 percent) of your donation will be used to support administrative cost and 90 percent (90%) will go directly to the program, cause, item, or specific need you support.
